  • Use of laxatives, enemas, diet pills, or herbal products 

  • Refusal to eat 

  • Lack of emotion 

  • Extreme fear of gaining weight 

  • Denial of hunger 

  • Depressed mood 

  • Lack of interest from social activities 

  • Reduced interest in sex 

  • Easily getting angry or irritable 

  • Skipping meals 

  • Making excuses to not eat
